About Me
Hey! I'm Vandera, an 18 year old student. I've had a passion for art ever since I was a kid. I began to really refine my skills during the pandemic by obsessively drawing every single day, always attempting to one-up my last sketch. When I'm not drawing, I'm either ice skating at my local rink, coding up a new project, or listening to Tyler the Creator and Glass Animals on Spotify.
Art Supplies
All of the materials I use to make my art compiled in a handy Amazon Storefront. It is important to note that you don't need specific supplies to create art, only time and effort! That being said, these products are what I feel comfortable using and would recommend if you are unsure of what materials to buy.
Doodles
Doodling in class can be an extremely effective method in staying focused and retaining more information. I can testify to as much—that's why I have so many doodles! I implore you to try doing the same if you struggle with paying attention in class. Feel free to check out the rest of my doodles if you need inspiration!
Drawings
Drawing is incredibly therapeutic and a fantastic way to express oneself. My drawings range from fanart of my interests to exploring my own identity. You'll notice that there's a great deal of Spider-Man related art, many of which is my own Spidersona—Spider-Sprout! She's plastered all over this website haha.

How do you start drawing?
Start with what excites you! For example, if you love Spider-Man, look up simple Spider-Man drawing tutorials online. Let your excitement for your subject drive your growth, I promise that success will naturally follow :)
How long have you been drawing?
I've always loved drawing my entire life! The first proper drawing I think I made was a picture of Rainbowdash when I was five. I followed a variety of Youtube tutorials and books as I grew up, but I really "locked in" during the pandemic. This means I've been actively pursuing art for about six years!
When is the face reveal?
Uh, no idea! I'm not even sure if I'll even do one, sorry. My face is something I'd like to keep private for the time being, I'd rather the focus be on my creations instead! Also, the mystery of being faceless online is kinda fun. Sometimes I really feel like I'm Spider-Man, helping people behind a secret identity...
What's your favorite Spider-Man?
This question requires multiple answers. Live action? I'd say Tom Holland. All of the movies? Miles Morales in the Spider-Verse movies. Other adaptations? Yuri Lowethenal's Insomniac Spider-Man. Comics? I really love Ultimate Spider-Man right now. Spider-Man variants in general? Either 2099 or Spider-Man India!
